Effective Communication
Far Above Rubies (Curriculum for girls ages 8-15)
Far Above Rubies is an academic series designed to combine areas of study into a practical training sequence for girls aged eight to fifteen. Each booklet is based on a verse from Proverbs 31; a basic, non-optional principle; two character qualities; and a hymn. The booklets each feature a short biography of a godly woman who exemplified the qualities highlighted in the booklet, as well as related projects for varying age-levels, stories, and activities. Pre-EXCEL (For girls ages 8-11)
Pre-EXCEL is an exciting program for young ladies ages 8-12. The girls are taught principles of Scripture and virtuous womanhood through skits, songs and crafts. Each girl is assigned to a team led by a specially trained EXCEL graduate. They are challenged in their relationship with the Lord as they study the lives of Biblical heroes and are encouraged to apply God's Word to their daily lives. For more information click here
EXCEL (For young ladies aged 16 and older)
EXCEL is an eight-week program designed to provide young ladies aged sixteen and older with vital training for life through a curriculum based on Proverbs 31. The goal of EXCEL is to equip young ladies with the Biblical principles, Godly character, and practical skills that will allow them to radiate the brightness of the Lord Jesus Christ through their thoughts, words and actions. Advanced EXCEL (For young ladies aged 18 and older)
Seconds... minutes... hours... days... By themselves these descriptions of time seem meaningless, but when combined and multiplied over the course of a lifetime, the days and hours turn into the life that we now know and the legacy that we leave behind. Advanced EXCEL seeks to equip students for a lifestyle of purposeful discipleship by combining on-site training with real-life application. For more information click here
Foundations of Interior Design Lite (For students aged 17 and older)
This course will have some elements of the original FOID program, but the primary focus will be on window treatments. Qualified instructors will teach classes on interior decorating principles; students will participate in special outings to reinforce instruction; and "hands on" sessions will be held throughout the week for practical application. The Effective Communication Course is an intensive, one-week training course designed to help you progressively develop your skills of communication.
