Pre-EXCEL is an exciting program for young ladies ages 8-11. The girls are taught principles of Scripture and virtuous womanhood through skits, songs and crafts. Each girl is assigned to a team led by a specially trained Excel graduate. They are challenged in their relationship with the Lord as they study the lives of Biblical heroes and are encouraged to apply God's Word to their daily lives.

Pre EXCEL Overview : 

Pre-EXCEL just finished another awesome year of conferences around the country. A total of 400 girls came through the program this year taking place at three locations, Big Sandy TX, Nashville TN, and Sacramento CA. These Pre-EXCEL students were able to participate in a variety of activities including memorizing 2 Tim , learning songs, playing outdoor games, making crafts, hearing scriptural lessons and stories and much more.

Our theme for this year was "The Great Works of a Daughter" based on the verse in Proverbs 31:24 "She maketh fine linen and selleth it and delivereth girdles unto the merchant." Students at Pre-EXCEL this year saw how they are able to make a difference at home, making their family and especially their dads successful just like the Proverbs 31 woman made her husband successful. They learned that even at a young age, God has called and equiped them to serve and be ready, willing and able for whatever God sends them. The example of many biblicals heros such as Ruth, Dorcas, Deborah and the Proverbs 31 woman showed practical ways to creatively love and serve their families through their actions and attitudes. Each girl was encouraged to surrender their lives fully to Christ and live each day in obedience to Him.

Program Cost:

The cost for young ladies age 8-11 to attend Pre-EXCEL is $50 per person and includes craft items and activities, Pre-EXCEL polo shirt, Pre-EXCEL binder, Bucket Hat, and reservations of the conference room.

Who can participate?

  • Young ladies aged 8-11
  • (MUST BE 8 YEARS OLD by the start of the conference) 12 year-old young ladies are accepted as well
  • EXCEL graduates may serve as Team Leaders
  • Advanced EXCEL graduates are involved as Division Assistants

Conference Dates and Locations:

The Pre-EXCEL Conference takes place at the same time and place as the Advanced Training Institute International Regional Training Conferences in Big Sandy, TX, Nashville, TN and Sacramento, CA. While the parents attend training sessions, daughters ages 8-11 are invited to participate in three full days of action packed adventure and spiritual challenge.

We are looking forward to next years conferences. We will post the dates and locations of the 2010 ATI Regional Conferences as soon as they are available.

 

Items for your daughter to bring:

  • Bible/Pen/Pencil
  • Proverbs 31:24-25 memorized in the King James Version
  • Small Pre-EXCEL binder (Burgundy binders will be available for those who need them)
  • Khaki Bucket Hat (Hats will be available for those who need them)
  • Backpack or tote bag
  • Big smile and excitement!

Your daughter should wear a navy or khaki skirt (casual), with a burgundy shirt. One burgundy polo shirt will be provided for each young lady. Please clearly mark all personal belongings with the young lady's name. Additional burgundy shirts may be purchased for $10 each at the Dallas Training Center table at the Conferences.
