EXCEL Mission Statement
EXCEL is an eight-week program designed to provide young ladies aged sixteen and older with vital training for life through a curriculum based on Proverbs 31. The goal of EXCEL is to equip young ladies with the Biblical principles, Godly character, and practical skills that will allow them to radiate the brightness of the Lord Jesus Christ through their thoughts, words and actions.

When are future EXCEL classes scheduled?
- EXCEL 35 - September 20 - November 13, 2010 -Application
How much does EXCEL cost?
- Tuition cost is $1,400.00.
- $100.00 discount if you are currently enrolled in the ATI program or you have attended a “Journey to the Heart” within the previous calendar year of the start date for the EXCEL registered to attend.
- In addition to the tuition cost Materials are between $100.00 -$140.00.
What are the prerequisites for taking part in the EXCEL program?
Young ladies desiring to attend the EXCEL sessions must:
- Be sixteen years of age or older by the date the course you are interested begins
- Completely fill out your application for the EXCEL program, including a personal testimony, a recent picture and a $50.00 deposit
- Be enrolled in the ATI program
What are the requirements for those not enrolled in ATI?
Young ladies not enrolled in ATI who desire to attend the EXCEL sessions must:
- Be sixteen years of age or older by the date the course you are interested begins
- Completely fill out your application for the EXCEL program, including a personal testimony, a recent picture and a $50.00 deposit
- Have attended the Basic Seminar, and have a written recommendation for attending EXCEL from a currently enrolled ATI family or the Pastor of your church.
What kind of time commitment is required for EXCEL?
The program requires an eight-week time commitment.
What specific skills would a student learn in the EXCEL program?
EXCEL courses cover the following topics:
Achieving True Success - Surrendering your will for God's purpose
Excellence in Communication - Seeking to glorify God through the written and spoken word
Principles of Courtship and Marriage - Learning to rest in Jesus
Standing Alone for the Truth - Confidence in a God-honoring way of life
Hands-On Training:
Car Care - Practical information for emergencies
Cake Decorating - The foundational skills needed to begin a home business
Etiquette - Showing love and respect for others through common courtesy
CPR - Instruction, testing and certification
Floral Arranging - Demonstration and hands-on learning
Sewing - Basic garment construction and creative design projects
Vocal Training - Musical instruction and performance
Other Possible Activities - Calligraphy, Nutrition, Skin care, and Ministry projects
